The teenager was admitted to hospital in Delhi after the attack in Hathras district of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. She later died of her injuries. The case had sparked global outrage after authorities allegedly forcibly cremated her body without her family's consent. On Thursday, a court in Hathras town said that only one of the four accused - who all belonged to a higher caste - was found guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and for offences under Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, which deals with crimes against Dalits and tribals. The case had sparked huge protests in India after disturbing details about the alleged crime emerged. sexycasino

Tensions over Russia's war in Ukraine have dominated G20 talks in Delhi, even after India's PM urged foreign ministers to put aside their divisions. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the meeting was marred by Russia's "unprovoked and unjustified war". Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the West of "burying" a deal to allow some Ukrainian grain exports. Earlier, Narendra Modi spoke for developing nations, saying those present had a responsibility to them. The G20, which includes the world's 19 wealthiest nations plus the European Union, accounts for 85% of global economic output and two-thirds of its population. sexygaming

Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has been criticised for saying the country's ban on same-sex marriage is not discriminatory. Weeks ago, he apologised to the LGBTQ community over homophobic comments made by an aide who has since been sacked. Mr Kishida's party is under growing pressure to improve LGBTQ rights, as more Japanese support same-sex marriage. Japan remains the only G7 country that doesn't recognise such unions. When asked by an opposition lawmaker if the country's existing law constituted discrimination, the PM said on Tuesday: "I don't think disallowing same-sex couples to marry is unjust discrimination by the state." The prime minister also reiterated his position on Wednesday that a ban on same-sex marriage is "not unconstitutional" but said his stand should not be seen as a form of discrimination. sexygame

The US envoy to China has called on the country to be "more honest" about the origins of the Covid-19 virus. His comments come a day after US media reported that a federal agency had found the pandemic probably started from a laboratory leak in Wuhan. The Department of Energy reportedly concluded with "low confidence" that the virus was accidentally leaked. China's foreign ministry hit back, saying Covid's origin "was about science and should not be politicised". Washington-Beijing ties have been under strain since the US shot down an alleged Chinese spy balloon this month. เกมบาคาร่า
